5.4.2 Engine with gearbox
Lifting Points
For lifting the engine with gearbox, there are 2 crane hook lugs mounted on the gearbox

Use sufficiently dimensioned crane lifting gear

to lift the engine!
Cables, ropes and chains

must exert vertical tension (tolerance 5_) on the crane hooks!
DANGER
Falling loads (weighing up to 3500 kg!) can lead to serious accidents!
Therefore:
S Use crane lifting gear to lift the engine!
The crane lifting gear, cables, ropes and chains must be in perfect condition.
