Section 4 Maintenance
Removal of Parts
WARNING
Before removing any parts, unplug or disconnect
the electric power to the ice machine at the electric
service switch box, and turn off the water supply to
the ice machine.
DOOR
Remove thumbscrews holding the door in place.
FRONT DOOR
NOTE: The front door does not usually need to be
removed.
1. Remove two Phillips head screws to remove the
lower panel on the front of the ice machine.
2. Remove two Phillips head screws from the
bottom corners of the door frame assembly.
3. Lift the door frame assembly up and pull it out to
clear the key slots on the back of the assembly.
Removing the Front Door
OVERFLOW TUBE
To remove the tube, lift it up while using a slight
back and forth motion to loosen it from the drain
hole.
When installing the tube, be sure it is completely
inserted into the drain hole to prevent water leakage
during normal operation.
