Condensing Unit Drain Connections
The condensing unit drain is provided to remove any
condensate produced by the suction accumulator.
Condensate amounts will vary depending on
temperature and humidity.
The condensing unit must be level front to back and
side to side to allow the condensate to drain.
Drain lines must have1.5-inch drop per 5 feet of run
(2.5 cm per meter), and must not create traps.
Drain termination must meet applicable codes.
