WATER-COOLED CONDENSER
AND WATER REGULATING VALVE
Symptoms of restrictions in the condenser water circuit
include:
• Low ice production
• High water consumption
• High operating temperatures
• High operating pressures
If the ice machine is experiencing any of these symptoms,
the water-cooled condenser and water regulating valve
may require cleaning due to scale build-up.
The cleaning procedures require special pumps and
cleaning solutions. Follow the manufacturer’s
instructions for the specific cleaner being used.
!
Caution
If you are cleaning the condenser fan blades with
water, cover the fan motor to prevent water
damage.
