Why are my clothes not drying in my Maytag MED7100DC?

Several factors can cause unsatisfactory drying. Ensure the lint screen is clean before each load. Also, the exhaust vent or outside exhaust hood may be clogged with lint, restricting air movement. Run the dryer for 5–10 minutes and check for air movement under the outside exhaust hood. If there's minimal air movement, clean the exhaust system or replace the vent with a heavy metal or flexible metal vent. The Energy Saver option may be on. Turn it off for optimal drying times, or turn it on for optimal energy use.
