How to Connect Directly to a Power Amplifier
How to Connect Directly to a Power Amplifier
The MCD301 SACD/CD Player has Variable Output Con-
nections and a Front Panel Level Control making it pos-
sible to form a high performance Disc Playback System.
This system consists of a MCD301 directly connected to a
McIntosh Power Amplifier.
1. Connect a Power Control Cable from the MCD301
POWER CONTROL OUT jack to the POWER CON-
TROL IN jack of a McIntosh Power Amplifier.
2. Connect XLR Cables from the MCD301 BALANCED
VARIABLE AUDIO OUTPUTS to the Balanced Inputs
on a McIntosh Power Amplifier.
Note: The Unbalanced Audio Ouputs may be used instead
of the Balanced Outputs.

3. Connect the supplied AC Power Cord between the
MCD301 AC Power Cord Socket and a live AC outlet.
