height (rearward pitch).
Mercedes-Benz recommends vehicles be speci‐
fied with AIRMATIC suspension, where availa‐
ble/offered, to maintain a level front/rear tow‐
ing vehicle ride height when towing a trailer/
caravan.
Mercedes-Benz does not recommend and advi‐
ses against the use of load-levelling or weight
distribution attachments to towing systems to
attempt to maintain a level front/rear ride height
when towing, as it may result in structural failure
of the towing vehicle or tow bar.
