Side handle gear shift (if equipped) - controls gear shift.

Tilting Outboard
TILTING TO FULL UP POSITION
1.
Stop the engine.
2.
Take hold of the top cowl grip and raise outboard to the full up position.

Push in the tilt support pin. Lower the outboard to rest on the tilt support pin.
