1. Remove cover to gain access to screws.
2. Detent tension adjustment ‑ The detent screw can be adjusted to increase or decrease the effort needed
to move the control handle into or out of detent position.
3. Control handle friction adjustment ‑ The friction adjustment screw can be adjusted to increase or decrease
the overall effort to move the control handle. This will help prevent unwanted motion of the handle in rough
water.
4. Turn screw towards "+" to increase friction or towards "–" to decrease friction.
5. Reinstall cover.
