Changing a halogen lamp
The halogen lamps should be replaced
with the following:
Manufacturer................................ EGLO
Lamp type
.................................... GU10
Specification................................ 11427
Wattage........................................... 3 W
These halogen lamps are available from
Miel
e or from specialist retailers.
 P
ull out the deflector plate, and
remove the grease filter as described
earlier.
 Switch off the fan and the lighting.
Note that halogen lamps become
ver
y hot when in use.
They can cause burns even after
being switched off for some time!
Allow the lamps to cool down for a
few minut
es before changing them.
 Remo
ve the charcoal filter if the
cooker hood is being used in
recirculation mode.
 Disconnect the cooker hood from the
mains electrical supply before
replacing the lamps (see "Warning
and Safety instructions").
 P
ush down the lighting unit slightly
via the opening in the safety panel.
 T
urn the halogen lamp anti-clockwise
and pull it out.
 Scr
ew the new halogen lamp into the
socket and push it upwards. Please
follow the manufacturer's safety
instructions.
 Replace
the grease filter and, if being
used in recirculation mode, the
charcoal filter.
