Emptying the condensed water container
During the programme, water is con-
densed and collected in a container on
the left behind the fascia panel. The
container holds approx. 4 litres and
should be emptied after each drying
programme.
Pull out the container
Pull forward the cap of the spout as
indicated by the arrow and hold
open while emptying the container.
When the container is empty, release
the cap. The spout closes automati-
cally.
Push in the container until it clicks
into place.
Should the container be inadvertently
full when the tumble dryer is started or
if it becomes full during operation:
The “Empty out container” indicator
light comes on
Note:
The water collected in the container
has been distilled by evaporation and
can be used in a steam iron or humidi-
fier, for example.
The following points should be remem-
bered:
The laundry should be thoroughly
rinsed before it is loaded in the tumble
dryer.
As a precautionary measure, the water
should be passed through a fine sieve
or coffee filter in order to strain out any
very small particles of fluff from the
water which might otherwise cause
damage.
