isabling the ass or nction
To disable password protection, go back to the SYSTEM SETUP: ance > Sec rit Settings Po er on loc
menu after opening the S menu system. Select by pressing . The message PUT P SS R is
displayed. nter the current password.
• f the password is correct, the S menu returns to the Sec rit Settings page with shown in the row of
Po er on loc . You will not have to enter the password ne t time you turn on the projector.
• f the password is incorrect, the password error message is displayed lasting for three seconds, and the message
PUT P SS R is displayed for your retry. You can press ME U E T to cancel the change or try
another password.
hough the password function is disabled, you need to keep the old password in hand should you ever need to re-activate the
password function by entering the old password.
S itching in t signal
The projector can be connected to multiple devices at the same time. owever, it can only display one full screen at a
time.
e sure the ic to Search function in the S URCE menu is n which is the default of this projector if you
want the projector to automatically search for the signals.
You can also manually cycle through the available input signals.
. Press S URCE on the projector or remote control. A source selection bar
is displayed.
. Press until your desired signal is selected and press ME
E TER.
nce detected, the selected source information will be displayed on the
screen for seconds. f there is multiple equipment connected to the
projector, repeat steps - to search for another signal.
• he brightness level of the projected image will change accordingly when you
switch between different input signals. ata graphic " C" presentations using
mostly static images are generally brighter than "Video" using mostly moving
images movies .
• he input signal type effects the options available for the Setting. See "Selecting a
picture mode" on page for details.
• he native display resolution of this projector is in a E 1 -S 1 1
E 1 -S aspect ratio. or best display picture results, you should select and
use an input signal which outputs at this resolution. Any other resolutions will be
scaled by the projector depending upon the aspect ratio setting, which may
cause some image distortion or loss of picture clarity. See "Selecting the aspect
ratio" on page for details.
Changing Color S ace
n the unlikely event that you connect the projector to a player via the projector s M input and the projected
picture displays wrong colors, please change the color space to YU .
. Press ME U E T and then press until the S URCE menu is highlighted.
. Press to highlight Color S ace Con ersion and press to select a suitable color space.
his function is only available when the H I input port is in use.
