The power supply modules provide the 5 VDC that is required by the CPU and I/O
modules to function correctly. They are mounted on to the base units in the power
supply module slot, and output the
5 VDC they generate to a power rail on the base
unit. Input supply voltage to the power supply module is dependent on the model
number selected, below is
a list of all the A1 S power supply modules available:
