7 Commissioning
This chapter is intended for installers
First time setup of the PowerRouter:
Before using the Powerrouter the unit must be initialized using the USB-
connection and a pc with the installation software tool. See Appendix B
for more information.
This section describes the commissioning of the PowerRouter before operating.
Commissioning steps:
1. Switch utility grid to the PowerRouter
In the case of a bypass switch see gure 20 otherwise see gure 21.
2. Connect a pc to the usb port of the PowerRouter
3. Switch the main switch to ON. It is possible that the PowerRouter may not
immediately start up, in which case it is on ‘standby’ mode. (this may
continue for up to 10 minutes).
When this happens, start the PowerRouter with the installation software tool.
4. Initialize the PowerRouter with the installation software tool
5. Switch pv and load to the PowerRouter
