1.Followthemaintenanceschedulewithregardtothemachineservicingintervals.
Rememberthatthemachinerequiresminorattentionfromtimetotime.Alsorememberthatthetimetakenon
maintenancewillgreatlyextendthelifeofthemachine.Takethenecessaryprecautionsnottospillanyoil,fuel,
greaseorcoolant.
2.Servicethemachineonarmlevelsurface.
3.DONOTattempttoremovematerialfromanypartofthemachine,clean,lubricateorcarryoutanyadjustments
onthemachinewhileitisinmotionorwhiletheengineisrunning.
4.Keephands,feetand/orgarmentsawayfrommovingparts.Checkthatallrotatingpartsarecorrectlyguarded.
5.Neverworkundertheattachmentwithoutrstensuringthatthestrawelevatorhydrauliccylindersafetylatchis
engagedorthatitissecurelysupportedonwoodenblocks.Raisedequipmentand/orloadscanfallunexpectedly
andcrushpersonsunderneath.Neverallowanyonetoentertheareaunderneathraisedequipmentduringoper-
ation.
Unsupportedhydrauliccylinderscanlosepressureanddroptheequipmentcausingacrushinghazard.Donot
leaveequipmentinaraisedpositionwhileparkedorduringservice,unlesssecurelysupported.
6.Alwaysusesuitablejackstandswhencarryingoutmaintenanceonthetractionorthesteeringaxle.Onlyjack
uporliftthemachineatthepointsindicatedinthismanual.
7.Keepthemachine,particularlythebrakesandsteering,maintainedinareliableandsatisfactoryconditionto
ensureyoursafetyandcompliancewithlegalrequirements.
Regularlychecktheefciencyofthebrakesandreplacethebrakepadsbeforetheyaretotallywornout.
8.Stoptheengine,removethekeyandswitchoffthebatteryswitchbeforedisconnectingorconnectingelectrical
connections.
9.Anyleakageofhydraulicoilorfuelunderpressuremaycausesevereharm,soalwaysuseashield,gogglesand
gloveswhentracingoilorfuelleaks
DONOTuseyourhandtocheckforleaks.Useapieceofcardboardorpaper.
