Important!
Note that DD D DD appears in the LCD
pane l when the battery is replaced .
Remember to set the date and time.
(For sett i ng date and time, see page 10 .)
Note: To preserve battery power , be sure to
turn the came ra OFF when not in use .

Pullout the tab to remove battery easily.
Turning the camera ON/OFF
1 T urn the camera ON by sliding the
P ower switch/ L ens cover in the direction
of the arrow unt il it click stops
-The lens automatically extends out to the
W (wideangle) position .
2 Turn the camera OFF by sl iding the
P ower sw it ch/ L ens cover in the reverse
di rect i on until i.t click stops
Checking battery power
1 Turn the camera ON.
2 Check battery power.
-I f ClIII blinks in the LCD panel, rep lace
the battery
If nothing appears in the LCD panel, the
battery is exhausted or incorrectly installed.
