Neck strap
Attach the neck strap as illustrated (A), taking care to avoid twisting the strap.
Eyepiece cap
There are two ways you can position the eyepiece cap as you observe your subject.
1. Remove the eyepiece cap from the eyepieces and allow it to hang from the neck strap.
2. Remove the eyepiece cap from the eyepieces, then detach the right strap from the cap and allow
it to hang from the left neck strap (B).
To attach/detach the eyepiece cap, pull the neck strap through the slits as shown in image (C) in the
following order:

Flipdown objective lens caps
There are two ways you can position the objective lens caps as you observe your subject.
1. Detach the objective lens caps from the body.
2. Fold open the objective lens caps.
• Attaching (D):
Insert the convex parts of the objective lens caps into the binocular holes in a diagonal direction as
illustrated.
Make sure the objective lens caps are properly and securely mounted.
• Detaching (E):
Insert the index finger between the objective lens cap band and the body. Push the end of the
band as indicated by the arrow in figure (E) to detach.
Objective lens caps may become detached due to external pressure or other strong force. Take care
to avoid losing them.
Neck
strap and caps during observation
For eyeglass wearers, use fully retracted. To accurately adjust your view,
you can also use two click stops before reaching the fully retracted
position.
For non-eyeglass wearers, use fully extended. To accurately adjust your
eye position, you can also use two click stops before reaching the fully
extended position.
