BRAKE CABLE REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
FOR 4010/4202/4202C/4203/4204/4207/4208/4212/4214/4215/4216/4218/4220/4222/4224/4700/4900

STEP 6 – STRING THE END OF THE CABLE THROUGH
THE FRONT OF THE BRAKE CASING. PUSH THE
CABLE UNTIL THE HEAD OF THE CABLE IS FULLY
INSIDE OF THE BRAKE CASING. REPLACE THE
PLASTIC CAP.
STEP 11 – THREAD THE END OF THE
CABLE THROUGH THE BOTTOM
TENSION ADJUSTMENT SCREW AND
THEN THROUGH THE HOLE IN THE
BRAKE SHOE.
STEP 7 - GRAB THE CABLE APPROXIMATLY 1” FROM THE END
AND MAKE A SLIGHT BEND. HOLD THE BRAKE HANDLE IN ONE
HAND AND THREAD THE CABLE OVER THE LARGE CENTER
WHEEL AND UNDER THE SMALL LOWER WHEEL
STEP 8 - THREAD THE CABLE
THROUGH THE LOWER OPENING
IN THE BRAKE CASING, OUT THE
TENSION ADJUSTMENT SCREW
AND THROUGH THE CABLE
COVER.
STEP 12 – SCREW IN THE UPPER
TENSION ADJUSTEMENT SCREW
AND NUT SO THAT NO SCREW
THREADS ARE SHOWING.
STEP 13 - PLACE THE BRAKE
HANDLE IN THE LOCKED
STEP 9 - PULL THE CABLE UNTIL THE
BRAKE HANDLE FITS BACK INTO THE
BRAKE CASING.
STEP 10 - THE CABLE COVER
SHOULD BE THREADED THROUGH
THE WHITE CABLE GUIDE (ON THE
SIDE OF THE WALKER LEG) AND
INSIDE OF THE BLACK CROSS
BRACE BAR.
