2. Inserting and Replacing the Batteries
1. Remove the battery cover on the rear
side of the main unit.
1) Press the tab of the battery cover in the
direction of the arrow to release the
cover.
2) After releasing the battery cover, pull the
tab of the cover upwards.
2. Insert the batteries by aligning them as
indicated.
Make sure that their polarity (+/) is aligned with
the polarity (+/
) indicated in the battery
compartment.
3. Close the battery cover.
1) Align the hooks on the battery cover with
the slots in the battery compartment.
2) Push the battery cover until the tab clicks
into place.
Battery Life and Replacement
When the battery low indicator ( ) appears, replace all four
batteries with new ones.
Items stored in memory are retained even if the batteries are
removed. However, if the batteries are removed or replaced, you will
be prompted to set the date and time the next time the unit is turned
on.
Replace the batteries after turning off the power.
Disposal of used batteries should be carried out in
accordance with the national regulations for the disposal of
batteries.
Battery life
Four AA batteries will last approximately 1 year (when measurements are made four
times a day).
Because the supplied batteries are for trial use only, they may have a shorter life.
