One
major
reason
for
the
T-488F’s
excellent
sensitivity
and
tuning
precision
is
the
MOS-FET
varactor
used
in
the
front
end,
This
unwillingness
to
compromise
on
quality
gives
the
T-488F
the
sharp,

reception
you
expect
from

It

the

in
any
combination.
Avid
FM
fans
can

Classified
Memory
Scan
Onkyo’s
classified
memory
feature
allows
you
to
assign
the
up
to
40
stations
in
memory
to
any
of
six
separate
classes.
For
example,
you
could
assign
stations
according
to
type
of
music.
If
you
then
perform
preset

on
class
3,
say,
only
the
stations
assigned
to
that
class
are
scanned.
DYNAS
The
DYNAS
system
has
been
designed
specially
for
areas
with
many
FM
stations.
In
a
narrow
band
suchas
this
the
signal
of
an
adjacent
station
may
interfere
with
a
tuned
station
and
produce
undesirable
background
noise.
The
DYNAS
system
significantly
enhances
the
tuner’s
selectivity
and
sensitivity
compared
to
standard
FM
receivers,
thus
reducing
interference.
