Switch the main power switch off before performing connections.
Also be sure to perform left and right channel connections properly.
Note to CATV system installer:
This reminder is provided to call the CATV system installer’s attntion
to Article 820-22 of the NEC that provides guidelines for proper
grounding and, in particular, specifies that the cable ground shall
be connected to the grounding system of the building, as close to
the point of cable entry as practical.

These outlets are switched on and off by the Power switch on
the front panel and remote control transmitter. Capacity is total
100 watts.
FM Antenna Connections
Use the T-shaped antenna if you live in an area where signal strength
of FM broadcasts is high. Connect the antenna to the FM 300 ohms
terminals and place the antenna on a wall or other surface in the
position in which reception is best. !f signal strength is low in your
area, use a multi-element FM outdoor antenna and connect to this
unit using a 75 ohm coaxial cable because this type of cable is
more resistant to interference than 300 ohm cable. Consult your
Onkyo authorized service center about the right type of antenna
for your area.
