foot.
Release
the
push
buttons.
Insert
a
filler
cord
as
fol
lows:
Place it
over
rear
lug
G
(top
ill.),
pull
it
taut,
and
clamp
it
in
front
lug
H.
As
you
sew,
arrow
I
moves
along
scale
J.
This
serves
to
determine
the
buttonhole
length.
Turn
knob 10
to
the
position
shown
in
the
illustration
(bottom
left).
Restore
this
set
ting
at
the
beginning
of
each
buttonhole.
Turn
the
knob
clockwise
only.
Regulate
the
stitch
density
by
turning
the
master
selector
dial
in
the
buttonhole
range
from
+
to
—.
The
stitches
must
be
packed
to
gether
closely.
