Hood and Side Panels
The hood and side panels protect the operator from moving parts. Never
operate a snowmobile with the side panels open or removed. Always
ensure that the hood and side panels are installed and securely latched
before starting the engine.
Side Panels (Opening/Removing)
To open a side panel, rotate the
two 1/4-turn fasteners at the
upper edges of the side panel.
Release the strap at the lower
edge of the side panel.
To remove a side panel, open the
side panel, then pull the panel
outward to release the tabs at the
lower edge of the panel. Lift the
side panel away from the
snowmobile.
