Drive Chain Slack Adjustment
1. Loosen the four rear housing mount
bolts (A).
2. Loosen the chain adjuster lock nut.
3. Turn the chain adjuster (B) clockwise to
1/4”-1/2” (6-12 mm) deflection.
4. Tighten the chain adjuster lock nut to
84 in. lbs. (9.4 Nm).
5. Tighten the four rear housing mount
bolts to 43 ft. lbs. (60 Nm).
CAUTION
Hold the adjuster stud securely while tightening the jam nuts to avoid breaking the stud.
