Exposure adjustment control
Use
this feature when
you
want
to
retake
a
picture
to make it lighter
or
darker.
To do this:
1. Press
the ¡uooe button until
you
see
only the
lighten/darken
symbol

To lighten a
picture, press
the up
(A)
control
button once to turn on
the
lighten
setting:

control button once to
turn on the darken setting:

you
have
selected the set-
ting
you
want,
press
the MoDE
button once to return to the full
display. You
can
now retake
a
picture
to make it lighter

darker

To return
the camera to fully
automatic
operation,
press
the Auto reset button.

the background of a flash
picture
is too dark but
your
subject is
well illuminated,
the background is too
far
away.
To
correct this
problem,
do not use
the lighten setting. lnstead,
press
the
Auto reset
button and
retake
the
pic-
ture,
placing
your
subject
near a back-
ground
and keeping both within the
60 cm to 4.6 m flash range.
