Why won't my Poulan Pro Chainsaw start?

If your Poulan Pro Chainsaw won't start, several factors could be the cause: * The ignition switch might be off; move it to the ON position. * The engine could be flooded; refer to the “Difficult Starting” section in the Operation Section. * The fuel tank may be empty; refill it with the correct fuel mixture. * The spark plug might not be firing; install a new spark plug. * Fuel may not be reaching the carburetor; check for a dirty fuel filter and replace if necessary, or check for kinked or split fuel lines and repair or replace them.
