Introduction
Thank you for selecting a Rain controller. Rain designers have combined
the simplicity of mechanical switches with the accuracy of digital electroni-
cs to give you a controller that is both easy to program and extremely ver-
satile. The Rain controller provides convenience and fl exibility, letting you
run a fully automatic, semi-automatic, or a manual watering program for
all your watering needs.
Please read this manual thoroughly before you begin to program and use
the controller.
Installing Batteries
Install the batteries by fi rst disconnecting
the timer from the electric valve. Open the
battery compartment and insert 2 x 1.5
volt AA batteries. Make sure batteries are
installed with correct polarity as indicated
in the compartment to avoid possible da-
mage to timer. Close the battery compart-
ment properly and fi rmly to avoid battery
oxidation.
Installation
Connect the valve to the tap. Program the
controller by following the instructions in
this manual. Connect the timer to the elec-
tric valve.
