This
is
the
normal
(default)
condition
in
which
the
FP-
1's
keyboard

connected

it’s
internal
sound

hear

sound.

Off
When
set
this
way,
the
keyboard
and
the
internal
sound
generator
are
not
connected.
Therefore,
the
FP-
1
will
not
generate
any
sound
when
its
keyboard
is
played.
The
Local
Off
setting
can
be
used
when
you
wish
to
play
only
an
external
MIDI
sound
module
connected
to
the
FP-1,
or
when
you
want
to
hear
only
what
is
played
by
a
sequencer
connected
to
the
FP-1.
You
can
hear
no
sound.

By
connecting
the
FP-1
to
a
sequencer
as
shown
below,
you
can
record
and
play
back
your
keyboard
performances.

however,
the
THRU
function
on
the
sequencer
is
set
to
ON
(signals
received
through
MIDI
IN
are
sent
through
MIDI
OUT
without
any
modification),
you
need
to
set
the
FP-1
to
Local
Off.
If
set
to
Local
On,
the
notes
you
play
will
be
mirrored
by
those
being
returned
from
the
sequencer,
which
can
cause
notes
to
not
sound
like
they
should,
or
not
be
played.

note
played
is
sounded
twice.

keyboard

is
the
setting
that

automatically
