CValve Stereo Digital Recording Set-up with External Compression
In this example, two C valves are used for recording a stereo signal to a computer based hard disk recorder. The
balanced OUTPUT of the second C valve is connected to the DIGITAL LINK input on the first C valve so that both
signals are sent the S/PDIF out on C valve one. For extra dynamics control, a compressor (in this case the
Samson C com opti optical compressor) is connected to each C valve via the INSERT SEND and RETURN jacks.
