your
lens
has
an
OIS
switch,
you
can
use
the
OIS
function to
minimize
camera
shake
and
take
clear
shots.
Set the OIS switch to ON.

Mode 1:
The
OIS
function
is
applied
only
when
you
half-
or
fully
press
[Shutter].
Mode
2:
The
OIS
function
is
always
on.
OIS
may
not
function properly
when:
-
You
move
your
camera
to
follow a
moving
subject.
-
The
camera
is
not
stable
enough.
-
The
shutter
speed
is
slow.
(e.g.,
when
you
select
Night
in
the
SCENE
mode)
-
The
battery
is
low.
-
You
take a close-up
shot.
If
you
use
the
OIS
function
with
a tripod,
your
images
may
be
blurred
by
the
vibration of
the
018
sensor.
Deactivate
the
OIS
function
when
you
usea
tripod.
If
the
camera
is
subjected
to
impact,
the
display
will become
blurry.
In
this
case,
turn
off
the
camera
and
turn
it
on
again
to
use
the
OIS
function
correctly.
Using
the
OIS
function
only
when
necessary
is
recommended,
as
it
consumes
more battery
power.
If
you
want
to
set
options
regarding
the
OIS
function
on
the
menu,
turn
the
OIS
switch
of the lens
first
to
ON.
This
function
may
not
operate depending
on
lens
type.
You
can
also
set
this
function
by
pressing
[Fn]
in
Shooting
mode.
