Ground Speed Control Adjustment
GROUND SPEED CONTROL LEVER
TENSION ADJUSTMENT
If the ground speed control lever does not hold its posi-
tion, the linkage can be tightened at the transmission.
Early Models:
1. Remove bolt (Ref.10, Figure 5.).
2. Remove and replace both dampener pucks (Ref. 5)
and add more washers (Ref 9.). Also inspect the con-
trol arm (Ref. 7). If worn , replace it.
3. Reassembly the linkage assembly.
Later Models:
1. Tighten hex nut (Ref. 9, Figure 5).
If the lever is still too loose, proceed to step 2.
2. Remove and replace dampener pucks, (Ref. 14,
Figure 5).
