Getting Started
Step 1: Charging the battery pack
DCR-SR55E/SR65E/SR75E/SR85E

DCR-SR35E/SR36E/SR45E/SR46E
You can charge the “InfoLITHIUM”
battery pack (H series) after attaching
it to your camcorder.
Notes
Your camcorder operates only with an
“InfoLITHIUM” battery pack (H series).
1 Turn the POWER switch in the
direction of the arrow to OFF (CHG)
(the default setting).
2 Attach the battery pack by sliding it
in the direction of the arrow until it
clicks.
3 For DCR-SR55E/SR65E/SR75E/
SR85E:
Connect the AC Adaptor to the DC
IN jack on the Handycam Station.
For DCR-SR35E/SR36E/SR45E/
SR46E:
Connect the AC Adaptor to the DC
IN jack on your camcorder.
Open the jack cover and connect the
DC plug of the AC Adaptor to the DC
IN jack.
4 For DCR-SR55E/SR65E/SR75E/
SR85E:
Connect the power cord (mains
lead) to the AC Adaptor and the
wall outlet (wall socket). Insert
the camcorder into the Handycam
Station securely, all the way to the
bottom.
When setting the camcorder onto the
Handycam Station, close the DC IN jack
cover.

Open the jack cover.
