IDLE SPEED ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the idle speed properly, you
need a tachometer. If you do not have
one, ask your Suzuki dealer to per-
form this adjustment.
To adjust the idle speed:
1. Start the engine and warm it up.
2. Turn the throttle stop screw 1 in
or out so that the engine idles at
1850 – 2150 r/min.
FUEL HOSE
Inspect the fuel hose for damage and
fuel leakage. If any defects are found,
the fuel hose must be replaced.
 WARNING
Improper adjustment of the idle
speed can be hazardous.
An idle that is too high can cause
the ATV to lurch forward when you
start the engine. This may cause
an accident. Excessive engine
wear may also result if idle speed
is adjusted improperly or when
the engine is not fully warmed up.
Adjust the idle to the correct
speed. Make sure the engine is
fully warm before adjusting the
engine idle speed.
