MAINTENANCE
DESCRIPTION
Regular inspection and maintenance
are essential to riding your motorcycle
safely, and to ensuring that it lasts a
long time.
Carry out periodic inspections even
when you do not use the motorcycle for
an extended period. Inspect your motor-
cycle carefully when you begin using it
again after an extended period of non-
use.
Follow the guidelines in the chart. The
intervals between periodic services in
kilometers, miles and months are
shown. At the end of each interval, be
sure to perform the maintenance listed.

TROL DEVICES AND SYSTEMS MAY
BE PERFORMED BY ANY MOTOR-
CYCLE REPAIR ESTABLISHMENT
OR INDIVIDUAL USING ANY MOTOR-

CERTIFIED UNDER THE PROVI-
SIONS IN THE CLEAN AIR ACT Sec.
207 (a)(2).
