8.6.3) Needle Replacement
1) To replace the needle, it shall be located at the place where a needle can be installed or removed. If the
needle is not at the place, use the main shaft handle to manually rotate the main shaft to install or remove
the needle.

2) When inserting the needle, make the front
groove of the needle headed toward the user.
Push the needle to the very end of the needle
bar hole until the needle is not be pushed any
more and then make the assembly.

1) When conducting embroidery with special types of thread
such as rayon thread, the needle can be installed with its
groove turned to the right as in the figure in order to
minimize the occurrence of thread break.
2) If the needle is not fully pushed inside the needle hole, the
needle timing could be different from the hook timing. In
this case, needle break or thread break might occur.
When manually rotating the main shaft, the safety rules must be observed. Before
conducting any operation, please turn off the power of the machine. It is dangerous to
operate the machine with the main shaft handle inserted at the main shaft. After using the
main shaft handle, make sure to remove the handle from the main shaft.
