5.3.1ChangingSupply/Extractairlter
Thebagltercannotbecleanedandmustbechangedwhennecessary.Newlterscanbeorderedfrom
Systemair.Operationtimebetweenlterchangesdependsontheairpollutionattheinstallationsite.A
differentialpressureswitchindicateswhenit’stimetochangethelters.Thiswilltriggeranalarmin
thecontrolpanel.
Whenthisoccursdothefollowing:
1.Replacethelterswithnewonesasdescribedbelow
2.Acknowledgethealarmbypressingtheredbuttononthecontrolpanel(pos.1gure5)followedbyOK
(pos.4gure5)
3.Choose→AcknowledgebypressingOK
Theltersaretakenoutbyreleasingthelterlockinghandleasshownin(gure6)afterwhichthelters
canbetakenoutandreplaced(gure7).

5.3.2Checkingtherotatingheatexchanger
Afteralongtimeofusedustmaybuildupintheexchangerandblocktheairow.Itisimportanttoclean
theexchangerregularlytomaintainhighefciency.Thecompleterotatingheatexchangerblockcanbe
takenoutoftheunit(gure8)inthesmallermodelstofacilitatecleaningandmaintenance.Washinhot
soapywaterorusepressureair.Donotusedetergentcontainingammonia.
Checkatleastonceayearthattheexchangerrotorrotateseasily.Checkthisbyremovingthedriving
beltandmovetherotorbyhand.Checkalsothatthebrushesareundamaged.Therotorbearingsare
permanentlylubricatedfromfactoryandshouldnotbere-greased.
Check4timesperyearthatthedrivingbeltissufcientlytense,thatitfollowsthetracksandthatitis
undamaged.Ifthebelttensionistoolowitneedstobeshortened.
