4691 LOW INK LEVEL DETECTION ADJUSTMENT

The 4691 low ink level detection ad-
justment on page 5-16 of the service
manual is incorrect as far as the
voltage levels are concerned. The ink
that is now used with the 4691 requires
that different detection levels be used
for each color of ink.
The voltages are changed as follows:
1. Magenta, VRl is adjusted so that
the voltage on RlO is .8Vdc.
2. Cyan, VR2 is adjusted so that the
voltage on R16 is .3Vdc.
3. Black, VR3 is adjusted so that the
voltage on R22 is .6Vdc.

4. Yellow, VR4 is adjusted so that the
voltage on R28 is .4Vdc.
All 4691

s that are shipped from the
factory have been adjusted to the
correct voltage levels.
A correction to the service manual is
being made.
