REFLevel:METHod

Speciﬁes or returns the reference level units used for measurement calculations.

NOTE. this command affects the associated reference level parameter

for all MEAS

urements:IMMed and the eight periodic measurements.

To change the parameter for individual measurements, use the

MEASUrement:MEAS<x>:REFLevel commands.

MEASUrement:REFLevel:METHo d {ABSolute|PERCent}

MEASUrement:REFLevel:METHo d?

Arguments

ABSolute speciﬁes that the reference levels are set explicitly using the

MEASUrement:REFLevel:ABSolute commands. This method is useful when

precise values are required (for example, when

designing to published interface

speciﬁcations, such a s RS-232-C).

PERCent speciﬁes that the reference levels ar

e calculated as a percent

relative to HIGH and LOW. The percentages are deﬁned using the

MEASUrement:REFLevel:PERCent commands.

Examples

MEASUREMENT:REFLEVEL:METHO D ABSOLUTE speciﬁes that explicit

user-deﬁned values are used for the reference levels.

MEASUREMENT:REFLEVEL:METHO D? might return

:MEASUREMENT:REFLEVEL:METH OD PERCENT indicating that the reference

level units used are calculated as a percent relative to HIGH and LOW.

MEASUrement:REFLevel:PERCent:HIGH

Sets or returns the percent (where 100% is equal to HIGH) used to calculate the

high reference level when MEASUrement:REFLevel:METHod is set to Percent.

This command affects the results of rise and fall meas urements.

NOTE. This command affects the associated reference level parameter for all

MEASurements:IMMed and the four periodic measurements.
