Characteristic Description
Measurement type
DC Accuracy (in volts)
Any sample
±[DC gain accuracy x | reading - (offset - position) |
+ Offset Accuracy +0.15 div + 0.6 mV]
Delta volts between any two samples acquired
with the same oscilloscope setup and ambient
conditions

Note: Offset, position, and the constant offset term must be converted to volts by multiplying by the
appropriate volts/div term.
Average of 16 waveforms ±[DC gain accuracy x | reading - (offset - position) |
+ O ffset Accuracy + 0.1 div]
Delta Volts between any two averages of 16
waveforms acquired with the same oscilloscope
setup and ambient conditions

Note: Offset, position, and the constant offset term must be converted to volts by multiplying by the
appropriate volts/div term.
The basic accuracy specication applies directly to any sample and to the following measurements: High,
Low, Max, Min, Mean, Cycle Mean, RMS, and Cycle RMS. The delta volt accuracy specication applies to
subtractive calculations involving two of these measurements.
The delta volts (difference voltage) accuracy specication applies directly to the following measurements:
Positive Overshoot, Negative Overshoot, Pk-Pk, and Amplitude.
Offset rangeVolts/div setting
1M input 50 input

±0.5 V ±0.5 V
100 mV/div to 500 mV/div
±10V ±10V
505 mV/div to 995 mV/div
±5 V ±5 V

Offset ranges
Input Signal cannot exceed Max Input Voltage for the 50 input path. Refer to the Max Input Voltage
specication for more information.
Offset accuracy ±[0.005 × | offset - position | + DC Balance]
Note: Both the position and constant offset term must be converted to volts by multiplying by the
appropriate volts/div term.
