Your
calculator
is
equipped
to
handle
a
variety
of
calculations
that
involve
angles
—
notably
the
trigonometric
functions
and
polar/rectangular
conversions.
When
performing
these
calculations,
your
calculator
allows
you
to
select
any
one
of
three
common
units
for
angular
measure
using
the
key
sequences
below:

IMPORTANT
NOTE:
When
you
first
turn
your
calculator
on
it
powers
up
in
the
degree
mode,
and
stays
in
that
mode
until
a
new
mode
is
selected.
One
very
common
error
encountered
when
working
with
angles
is
finding
yourself
in
an
incorrect
angular
mode.
Once
you
select
an
angular
mode,
your
calculator
will
stay
in
that
mode
until
you
select
a
new
one,
or
until
you
turn
the
calculator
OFF
and
ON
again
(the
calculator
is
always
in degree
mode
on
power
up.)
