Theignitionswitchhas3positions:Off,Run,andStart.The
keywillturntoStartandmovebacktoRunuponrelease.
TurningthekeytotheOffpositionwillstoptheengine;
however,alwaysremovethekeywhenleavingthemachine
topreventsomeonefromaccidentallystartingtheengine
(Figure5).
Throttle/ChokeControl
Thethrottleandchokearecombinedintoonecontrollever.
Thethrottlecontrolstheenginespeedandithasacontinuous
variablesettingfromSlowtoFast.Engagethechokeby
movingtheleverpasttheFastsettinguntilitstops(Figure5).
Itmaybenecessarytoholdtheleveragainstthestop,inthe
chokeposition,whiletryingtostarttheengine.

Blade-ControlSwitch(PowerTake-off)
Theblade-controlswitch,representedbyapowertake-off
(PTO)symbol,engagesanddisengagespowertothemower
