  Several factors can cause this issue. The fuel tank might be empty, so refill it. The air cleaner could be dirty, requiring cleaning or replacement. Check if the spark plug wire(s) is loose or disconnected and install the wire(s) on the spark plug. A spark plug(s) may be pitted, fouled, or have an incorrect gap, so install a new, correctly gapped spark plug(s). The fuel filter may be dirty, so replace it. The oil level in the crankcase might be low, so add oil to the crankcase. Finally, ensure that you are using the correct fuel type; if not, drain the tank and replace the fuel with the proper type.
