7. Move the deck lift lever into the top notch to raise the
deck lift arms up and out of the way (Fig. 847).
1. Place the PTO/Blade Engage knob in the disen-
gaged (OFF) position and engage the parking brake.
2. Move the deck lift lever into the top notch to raise the
deck lift arms up and out of the way (Fig. 849).

3. Turn the tractor’s wheels fully left. Slide the cutting
deck (from the right side) underneath the tractor
(Fig. 850).
8. Turn the tractor’s wheels fully left. Slide the cutting
deck (from the right side) out from underneath the
tractor (Fig. 848).
