1.Starttheengine;refertoStartingtheEngine
(page10).
2.MovethespeedselectortoPositionR1;referto
OperatingtheSpeedSelector(page13).
3.Squeezetheleft(traction)levertothehandgrip
(Figure5).

machinedoesnotmoveormovesforward,
completethefollowing:
A.Releasethetractionleverandshutoffthe
engine.
B.Disconnectthetrunnionfromthe
speed-selectorlever.
C.Turnthetrunniondownward(clockwise)on
thespeed-controlrod.
D.Connectthetrunniontothespeed-selector
lever.
4.Releasethetractionlever.
5.MovethespeedselectortoPosition1;referto
OperatingtheSpeedSelector(page13).
6.Squeezetheleft(traction)levertothehandgrip
(Figure5).
Themachineshouldmoveforward.Ifthe
machinedoesnotmoveormovesrearward,
completethefollowing:

C.Turnthetrunnionupward(counterclockwise)
onthespeed-controlrod.
D.Connectthetrunniontothespeed-selector
lever.
7.Ifyoumadeanyadjustments,repeatthis
procedureuntilnoadjustmentsarerequired.

tractionleverisinthereleasedposition,checkthe
tractioncable;refertoCheckingandAdjusting
theTractionCable(page17)ortakethemachine
