For easy access to the ignition switch,
the ignition switch light comes on when
any of the doors are opened.
Vehicles with the power door lock sys-
tem—
! The light remains on for about 15 sec-
onds after all the doors are closed.
! When all the doors are locked, or when
the ignition switch is turned to “ACC”
or “ON” after all the doors are closed,
the light fades out.
! When any door is unlocked using ei-
ther the key or the wireless remote
control key, the light will come on and
remain on for about 15 seconds before
fading out.
To pr ev en t t he b at t e r y b ei ng d is cha r ge d,
the light will automatically turn off when
the ignition switch is in the “LOCK” posi-
tion and the door is left opened for 20
minutes or more.
To turn on the windshield wipers, move
the lever to the desired setting.
The key must be in the “ON” position.
Lever position Speed setting
Position 1 Intermittent
Position 2 Slow
Position 3 Fast
For a single sweep of the windshield,
push the lever up and release it.
