READY TO RIDE?
Are you ready to ride? Before riding, make sure you
andn your MAX RS are both ready to ride:
> Read and understand this manual carefully.
> Take time to learn and practice. Start by practicing
in a safe area and slowly build your skills.
> Use highly visible and reflective clothing recom-
mended for motorcycle riding.
¡CAUTION!
> Don’t ride when you arre in poor physical or
mental shape.
> Don’t drink and ride, alcohol and riding don’t mis.
Even one drink can reduce your ability to respond to
changing conditions, and your reaction time gets
worse with every additional drink.
IS YOUR MOTORCYCLE READY TO RIDE?
Before each ride, it’s important to inspect your
motorcycle and make sure any problem you find is
corrected. A pre-ride inspection is a must because
road conditions can be very harsh on your motorcy-
cle, and a pre existing problem can let you down on
the road, away from help.
Always perform a pre-ride inspection before every
ride and correct any problems. Improperly mainta-
ning this motorcycle or failing to correct a problem
before riding can cause a crash in which you can be
seriously hurt or killed.
