• Handle the plug or appliance with wet hands.
• Unplug the appliance by pulling on the power cord.
• Use the appliance in an area with toxic/explosive vapours/liquids, oxygen water tanks or near to ammable,
combustible materials (lighter uid, petrol, kerosene, chlorine, bleach and ammonia drain cleaner etc).
• Use the appliance with incorrect voltage as this may result in damage or injury to the user. The correct voltage
is listed on the ratings label.

• Inspect the appliance regularly and remove any dust/dirt build up as this may aect the airow.
• Keep all openings/grills clear and free from obstruction and sources of heat, and open ames (including
candles). Don’t attempt to remove blockages with sharp objects as this may cause damage to the appliance.
• Turn o all controls on the appliance before disconnecting or connecting the power cord.
• Always replace the fuse in the plug with a 13amp fuse. Always protect the power cable from heat.
• Use only CE approved 13amp extension cords, non-approved extension cords may overheat.
• Take care to arrange the extension cord as it can be a trip hazard.
• Always switch o and unplug the appliance before performing maintenance or troubleshooting checks.
