The system comprises:
1
Engine
2 AdBlue®/DEF Pump
3 Solenoid valve, when open it allows hot engine coolant to pass through the tank heating loop.
4 Sensor that measures the quality, level and temperature of the solution in the tank.
5 AdBlue®/DEF Tank
6 NOx sensor, measures level of NOx before injection.
7 Temperature sensor
8 AdBlue®/DEF Injector, the atomized solution is sprayed into the exhaust gases upstream of the catalytic
converter.
9 EATS Catalyst and Muffler
10 Control unit (ACM), continuously monitors the EAT System. Activates the solenoid valve (3) at low
temperature in the tank.
11 NOx sensor, measures level of NOx after the catalyst/muffler.
