brakingprogramBdoesnotpermitmorethan
onedown-changeatatimewhenthegearbox
hasoneofthesegearsengaged.Toget
maximumbrakingpowere.g.atconstruction
sitedriving,movetheauxiliarybrakestalk
totheBpositionrepeatedly,whichresultsin
adown-changeeachtime.Therebyahigher
enginespeedandmaximumenginebrakeis
obtained.
Changingdrivingdirection
(AppliesonlytounitsequippedwithEBS)
Thedrivingdirection,forwards(AorD)
orbackwards(R),canbechangedwhile
drivingusingtheI-shiftgearselectorpad
withoutthebrakepedalbeingused.Thebus
doesnotneedtobestandingstill.Theunit
brakesslowlydownautomaticallyandwhen
stationarythegearischangedforthenew
drivingdirection.
