BEFORE CONNECTING YOUR HEDGE TRIMMER TO
THE
POWER
OUTLET, ALWAYS TURN THE SWITCH TO THE OFF
POSITION.
FAILURE TO CHECK
COULD
RESULT IN ACCIDENTAL
START–UP CAUSING SERIOUS INJURY.
Turning on the hedge trimmer (Fig. 3)
1. Plug into a matching grounded extension cord.
2.
Place one hand on the trigger handle (1) . Place the other hand on the
auxiliary
handle (2).
3.
Press the lock out button (4), and then squeeze the trigger switch
(3)
to
turn ON
the
hedge trimmer. The trimmer will stay on as long
as the trigger switch is squeezed.
Turning off the hedge trimmer (Fig. 3)
1. Release the trigger switch (3).
2. Allow at least 5 seconds for the cutting blade to stop moving.
